Regarding the possible new regulation of electric hand dryers Luca Bertoletti, European Affairs Manager for the Consumer Choice Center wrote an article on the Italian think tank website Campagne Liberali.

He menions the preparatory study for the new regulation accusing electic hand dryer of not being hygienic and says: “In the evaluation, however, it was considered only part of the literature , excluding any research into the effects of paper towels.”

His conclusion: “To carry out an impartial evaluation it would also have been necessary to use some impartial and independent study!”
