Mid January, eHA-Members again met representatives of the EU-Commission in Brussels. Besides several talks with the commission, they also intensively exchanged positions with the EU consultants from ICF. Within the ECO Design and energy labelling Framework, the Energy Efficiency Directive and thus electric hand drying plays a role when it comes to certain aspects of using energy. eHA still urges DG GROWTH to also take other ways of drying hands into account that uses energy indirectly. The next meeting will be soon in time.
