October 15th is Global Handwashing Day and the 2022 theme is “Unite for Universal Hand Hygiene”. 

We should Unite for Universal Hand Hygiene to support affordable, accessible, and desirable hand hygiene solutions for everyone, everywhere; to prioritize hand hygiene in institutional and public settings, including schools, healthcare facilities, workplaces, and other public settings and to advocate for hand hygiene as an essential element of health and development.

Since the beginning in 2008, Global Handwashing Day has continued to grow. And nowadays the Global Handwashing Day is endorsed by governments, schools, international institutions, civil society organizations, NGOs, private companies, and individuals.
