History of eHA Activities

In 2024, eHA goes on with four very engaged members: Excel, Genwec, Mediclinics and Starmix. We are supported by many in the industry. “Making electric Hand Drying the Leading System”, will continue to be our benchmark.

Towards the end of 2023, the European Cleaning Journal published a lengthy article discussing the pros and cons of the various hand drying systems. The various arguments are explained, which the eHA, among others, has been emphasizing for years. An objective, critical and constructive dialog is important and we expressly welcome it.

The European Parliament and the Council are currently working towards the adoption of the revised REDII. However, since the publication of the REPowerEU plan, the energy crisis has worsened. Saving energy and using renwable energy – for manufacturing and during life cycle – electric hand dryers are first choice.

DAN DRYER joins the eHA. The company was one of the very first hand dryer manufacturers on the market, and has gone on to establish a leading position as supplier of toilet equipment. The Viking logo is easily recognisable in public toilets all over the world.
